In addition to providing services at low cost, the Beacon Group
association will feature other important assets to participating groups:
Common Identification and advertising
|
a common "branding" that will identify each group as a citizen's group worthy of support, and will allow the association to do combined advertising. Public recognition and media attention will be enhanced for all member groups.

Combined Activist support
The Beacon Group association will encourage groups to assist each other, combining forces for events such as protests, rallies, lobbying, etc. For example, a single lobbyist can carry the message of several groups, and have our combined constituencies backing them.
Shared Expertise
Each Beacon Group is likely to have specific areas of expertise that can be shared with other association groups, such as lobbying activity, rally organizing, publicity, etc.
Shared Equipment and purchasing
The Beacon Groups association may purchase and share some equipment or services that would otherwise be unaffordable to any of the individual groups.
Joint activities
Groups will find that some public events and social activities can be enhanced by inviting other association members to participate. Member groups will each likely gain new members through associating with other groups.
