Striving for liberty takes many forms. America has a huge number of small organizations each of which works to maintain or restore some aspect of libery. Most are all-volunteer grassroots groups, with funding only from personal contributions. The Liberty Education Fund identifies and offers support to such groups. Beacon Groups is a loose association of such groups. By working together through the Beacon Groups association, these groups are able to strengthen each other, while still maintaining their own issue integrity. The Liberty Education Fund will coordinate the association and provide low-cost services and expertise to assist each group, but will not interfere in their affairs. To the extent that we can strengthen such groups, we are working for our own liberty too.

We understand the problems of such political action groups, each of which works with passion in an attempt to effect changes in local, state, or federal government. Such groups are usually completely volunteer in nature, with limited funding - both severe restrictions when facing the power and financing of government and special interest groups.
